I. Objectives:
At the end of today’s lesson the students
are expected to:

define software;
•
differentiate the different types of software;
•
identify the instructional software;
•
compare the instructional software from traditional
way of exhibiting educational activities; and
•
explore selected instructional software.
II. Subject Matter:

Nature of Instructional Software

Materials: laptop, projector,
white board, and white board marker.
III. Procedure:

Checking the cleanliness and orderliness of the
classroom

Motivation:
The class will be
divided into four (4) groups. Each group will be given pieces of letters. They
will try to assemble the letters to form words. The first group that will post
the correct arrangement of the picture will be the winner.
•
Lesson Proper:
• Give the connection
of the motivational activity to the topic that will be discussed.
• Introduce the topic
but before proceeding to the discussion, ask the students view about the word
“software”. Make them give some examples of it.
• Start the lesson by
the use of an animated presentation.
• Discuss the
different types of software and define the instructional software.
• Introduce the
various kinds of instructional software and display an example of each.
• Ask the students
awareness of those kinds of educational software.
• Site some
advantages of the usage of instructional software
